Clearview Binoculars - specialist superstore dedicated to the optical needs of naturalists, amateur astronomers, anglers and shooting enthusiasts, based alongside Newmillerdam Country Park, just outside Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Clearview Binoculars is the brainchild of Greg Snowden, together with Alan and Elaine Dyson who, since 2002, have traveled extensively through the UK supplying binoculars and telescopes to visitors at country shows and air displays.
When the Old Coach House became available at Newmillerdam, the trio saw the real benefits of providing a specialist store where customers use fabulous views to try out optical equipment in the environment it’s designed to be used in.Then in August 2011 they moved to new premises in nearby Mapplewell.
The extensive stocks include binoculars, telescopes, digiscoping products (for connecting digital cameras to telescopes) and optical accessories. This is not a store that’s aimed exclusively at customers with large budgets, however, as prices range from under £10 to over £1500. The aim is to supply everything optical under one roof for anyone who wants to take a closer look at the world around them.
The store is a main stockist of Visionary binoculars and telescopes, Optical Hardware observation binoculars and Olivon spotting scopes. We also stock Yukon night vision optics as well as the company ’s own range of Clearview binoculars and telescopes.
