|Making A Purchase Website - When you browse our store, add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be prompted for a few details needed to complete the order. Items can be deleted from the shopping cart at any time up to final purchase.|
We accept debit/credit card payments by Visa and Mastercard. You can order by telephone or post as well as via the website, but please do not send debit/credit card details by email.
Orders are normally processed & despatched within 48 hours. If we cannot fulfil the order, ( eg if the item has just gone out of stock, or if stock at a particular offer price has run out, etc.) you will be contacted for further instructions. Very few items are out of stock at any time, and where possible, we either remove such items from offer, or mark them "Out of Stock" in the product description. If the latter pertains, and an order is still placed for an item stated as out of stock, the item will be placed on back order and despatched when new stock is available. Consent will be sought before sending any item subject to a price increase on the new stock, at which point the order can be cancelled at no cost.
Orders from outside the UK
To avoid credit card validation delays, none UK orders can be E-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. A sterling invoice will then be issued for payment by Bank Transfer. Goods will be despatched on receipt of cleared funds. Orders from outside Western Europe will only be handled in this way.

We usually despatch orders within 48 hours of receipt, but occasionally this timescale may be extended, especially during the busy show season. If goods have not been received within 10 working days of order confirmation, please contact us.
Orders of £25 retail and above, to UK addresses, are currently carriage free, £4 carriage is added to smaller orders. Carriage outside the UK is £18 for Rep of Ireland, £30 for France Germany Netherlands Belgium Luxembourg, £35 for Italy Spain Greece Portugal & Monaco). For other destinations please email the order, a sterling invoice will be raised and goods sent when cleared funds have been received by Bank Transfer. Goods remain the property of Clearview Optics Ltd until, fully paid for.
For some products, and where delivery of a product is specified to an address other than the cardholder's billing address, additional security checks may be made prior to despatch, including the posting of a release code to the cardholder at the billing address.
Where a signature is required for your goods on delivery, please note any damage to packaging by your signature, and for valuable items, keep or photograph the damaged packaging.
Goods suffering transit damage or discovered to be faulty on delivery must be reported to us by post or Email within ten (calendar) days of receipt. See "Returns" section for more details.
Clearview Optics cannot accept liability for any returned product until it has been received by us, nor for any transit damage on its journey. See our "Returns Policy" for more information.

|Back Orders Items stated as out of stock on the web description, but still ordered by the customer will be placed on back order and despatched when new stock arrives.|
Exceptionally, if we cannot supply an item not so described, we shall seek your further instructions.
If your item is not in stock, we can place it on back order as above, or you cancel your order at no cost if you would rather not wait.
Items subject to a price increase on re-stocking will not be forwarded without your consent, and such orders can be cancelled at no cost. Any funds paid will be re-funded in full.

|Guarantee Unless stated otherwise in the product description, all of our new products are guaranteed against manufacturing faults for one year from the date of purchase, during which time Clearview Optics Ltd will rectify the problem free of charge. Certain models may have extended manufacturer's guarantees, the parts & labour element of which may be stated in a model's description (parts-only cover may be considerably longer). Guarantees do not cover goods which have become faulty as the result of intensive use, misuse or mishandling. Guarantees on "Clearance" items are as stated on the clearance ticket or web product description. |

|Returns Policy Please read the instructions below before returning any product.|
All Returns: All products to be returned remain the responsibility of the customer until received by Clearview Optics Ltd., who cannot accept responsibility for their loss or damage in transit. Adequate packing for the protection of the instrument, and postal insurance sufficient to cover its value, are therefore recommended.
Transit Damage / Faulty product returns
Please note any damage to packaging obvious on receipt, by your signature for the item, and for valuable items keep or photograph the damaged packaging.
Goods suffering transit damage or discovered to be faulty on delivery must be reported to us by post or Email within ten (calendar) days of receipt. Instructions will be forwarded on how to return the faulty item, and it will be replaced. Moreover, we shall refund the postage costs incurred relative to our return instructions.
NB Such refund will not apply to any returns not pre-authorised.
Unless stated otherwise, all new products supplied by Clearview Optics Ltd are guaranteed against manufacturing faults for one year. Visionary and Olivon products carry a two year, and Ostara products carry a ten year, manufacturers' parts and labour warranty against manufacturing faults (please refer to the warranty card with the product for specific details). Parts may be guaranteed for longer, but workshop time for repairs can quickly negate the viability of repairing many faults to inexpensive models if the labour is no longer covered.
Guarantees do not cover eyepiece rubber or covers, wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.
If your instrument needs attention, please contact us first to ascertain the likelihood of a guarantee repair / replacement, and/or viability of a repair. If returning the instrument bear in mind the "All Returns" note above.
New Product Returns
We hope that you will be entirely satisfied with your new product, but if not you can return it to us. Provided that we receive the item complete in original packaging, all in pristine condition (ie as new) within 10 days from your receiving it, we shall issue a refund to the credit or debit card used for the original purchase to the value of the product less a £10 re-stocking charge, or we can credit the full value against another product (once only).
Note: As stated above, return carriage (both in terms of cost and the maintenance of a product's good condition), and insurance, are the customer's responsibility. Items not received in good condition (including the product's packaging and accessories) cannot be credited. Such items will be held for at least one month before disposal, but can be forwarded if we receive instructions and the relevant postage.
